About Tab
The About tab provides information about Discovery Software and the current Discovery bridges usable by Acorn that are installed on your computer. There are three main sections:
Contact Discovery Software
The Contact information for Discovery’s Sales, Support and Care departments are displayed in this section. Hyperlinks to Discovery Software’s website and email addresses are provided for your convenience.
Products Installed
The Products Installed table tells which products usable by Acorn are currently installed on your computer. The table indicates the current version and the latest version available from Discovery Software. If your version of the product is older than the latest version then the table will contain an Update button that will download the latest version from Discovery Software’s website.
Help
There are also 2 icons in the bottom left corner, that may be of use:
Knowledge Base: The knowledge base is use-able only if you have an internet connection. Pressing this button will open a web browser to the appropriate knowledge base page based on the page you are on when you click this button.
User Guide: This button will open up a local copy of this user guide. Be aware that the knowledge-base may be more up to date than the user guide, as the user guide can only be as current as the version of Acorn that you are using.
