SIS2000: Schools
This document details specific information about the Schools tab in relation to the SIS2000 Bridge. If you need more general information about the layout of tis tab please see: Discovery’s Acorn: Schools Tab
Once you have selected SIS2000 as your connection from the connection drop-down, you should see a new list of parameters:
Schools
There are two parameters requiring information, both of these are drop-down menus.
There may be a short delay while these paramaters load, after making a selection:
- District: This is the Data Source Name as you set up in the ODBC setup section; This parameter is required.
- School number: Once the District has been chosen, the School number drop-down will be populated with a list of all possible schools for this District in the database.
Once these have been added you can “Test” your choice by clicking the Test button.
Test results should appear in the “Test Results” section; below is a list of many of the results, and possible hints on troubleshooting them:
- District and School Validated.: This is the success message, this indicates your setup is working and you are ready to extract.
In general if you do not receive a District and School Verified message than there is a problem internally and you will need to contact Discovery Support for assistance.
