When should “Rebuild Local Database” be checked?
If you have made substantial changes to your SIS data, such as a switch of admin systems or year-end rollover, check “Rebuild local database” to reconstruct the local database from scratch.
This process will generally take longer than using the existing database, which is why we don’t recommend doing it all the time.
