iOS Installation

iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

Principalm+ must first be installed using the App Store. If you already have Principalm installed, skip to the transferring data section below.

  1. On your device, open the App Store.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Type “Principalm”, and then select it from the list.
  4. Click Principalm, then Free, and then Install.
  5. Enter your iTunes password, and then click OK.

Once Principalm is installed, you will be able to start it any time by clicking on it.

Transferring data

Note:

  • Before data can be transferred Principalm Connect must have run an update to the “iPhone Update Service”. If you have not completed this step, click here:
  • iOS sync to Principalm iPhone Update Service requires WiFi (802.11) network.
  • Bonjour Service must be installed to locate the IP Address of the computer, where datasets are temporarily hosted.
    1. After the installation completes, open the Principalm application.
    2. Click Sync.
    3. Select the name of the computer running Principalm Connect. Your school data will be downloaded.
    4. After the download is complete you will be asked for your Password. Enter the password you typed in Principalm Connect, then click Go.
    5. You will be brought into Principalm. You can now view a list of student and their photos (if they exist). Tap on a student name to access detailed information such as demographic and contact information.
