Generating Diagnostic Data

Generation of diagnostic data is done on the Support screen:

Generate Diagnostic Data

Diagnostic Data is used to help our support department pinpoint problems with your setup or data, while keeping your school information secure.

Please follow these steps in order to generate diagnostic data for your system:

  1. Ensure that you have your school data set up on the School tab of Principalm Connect.
  2. Click on the Update Device tab; Select the Schools, from which, you wish to generate diagnostic data for.
  3. Click on the Support tab; Click the Generate Diagnostic Data button.
  4. Browse to your Desktop, you should see a folder called Connect Diagnostics. Send this folder to our support department for analysis.

Click this button to generate a folder containing diagnostic information for all of your currently imported schools. The folder will appear on your desktop as “Connect Diagnostics”.
