Contacts
The Person Contacts screen contains a Person’s contact information as well as a list of contacts for the person. From here you can dial a phone number, send an email, or look up an address.
Android
The Contacts screen
Personal
The students personal information is listed at the top of the screen.
Addresses first (Home, Mailing and other addresses if included), followed by phone numbers and then additional information.
To view a contact
Click to select that contact. This will open a Contact Info screen that contains information similar to the Personal information for the Person.
To dial a phone number
Click the phone number, this will open the associated Android dialer. Check the number if you need to add a prefix (Android does not support saved prefixes at this time) and hit the Call button.
To send an email
Click the email address to begin composing a message.
To view the address on a map
Click the address, this will open Google Maps with the current address.
You can also navigate to this address from your current location using the Google Maps Navigation button (a globe with an arrow pointing at it). this feature only works when you have GPS enabled.
Warning: Google maps and navigation require the use of WiFi or a data plan and may incur some costs depending on your phone plan.

Click to select that contact.

Click the phone number, then click Call.
To send an email
Click the email address to begin composing a message.
To view the address on a map
Click the address.
BlackBerry

To show a contact
Highlight the contact and click to select that contact.
To dial a phone number
Click a phone number to dial it. A dial pad will pop up with the option to dial or cancel the call.
To send an email
Click an email address to begin composing an email to that address.

Highlight the phone number using the trackball, click to dial.
To send an email
Highlight the email address using the trackball, click to begin composing an email to that address.
To view an address
Highlight the address using the trackball, click to view the address.
Palm

Person Screen
To show a contact
Choose a contact from the popup list at the top of the screen.
To dial a phone number
If your Palm is capable of making phone calls, phone numbers will show in blue text. Click a phone number to dial it.
To send an email
If your Palm is capable of sending emails, email addresses will show in blue text. Click an email address to begin composing an email to that address.
To view different addresses
If the contact has multiple addresses, you can toggle between them using the address name popup to the left of the address data.
Windows Mobile

Person Screen
To show a contact
Choose a contact from the popup list at the top of the screen.
To dial a phone number
If your Windows Mobile device is capable of making phone calls, phone numbers will show in blue text. Click a phone number to dial it.
To send an email
If your Windows Mobile device is capable of sending emails, email addresses will show in blue text. Click an email address to begin composing an email to that address.
To view different addresses
If the contact has multiple addresses, you can toggle between them using the address name popup to the left of the address data.
