Android Student Search
When you first enter the search screen You will see a detailed summary of the Students sorted by the type of search you have chosen.
From the list you can select a given entry by clicking on it. This will bring you to the Person View.
You can scroll through the list by using a single finger to swipe up or down; Or if your device has an optical pad or trackball you can use it to scroll up or down. The selected student will be highlighted.
How to search
To begin click on the Search icon in the top right corner of the screen. Type into the search bar and your search results will begin to show up below.

Barcode Scanning
Beside the search bar there is a barcode icon. You can use the device’s on board camera to scan Student ID’s and they will appear in the search (see Scanner Setup for more information)
List By
From the search screen click on the List by Icon 
to bring up the choices to sort the list by. Click your desired choice to change the sort, or hit the back button to cancel.
The following searches are available while searching students, the current selection is shown below the Students header (by ID Number).
The availability of a given search is dependent on the data available and the chosen type of search.

- First Name
- Last Name
- Goes By Name (Nickname)
- Parking Spot
- Parking Permit
- License Plate
- Bus In
- Bus Out
- Locker
- Birthday
- Medical Alert
- Conduct Alert
- Note Alert
